Synopsis

A distress beacon is picked up by a group of missionaries. The problem is that the planet Rimec is frozen from a devastating war 300 years earlier. Could there be any Survivors of Rimec?

Overall Directorial Comments

I was contacted by John Martin of Christian Filmworks Magazine and New Parable Films about an anthology film called Not of This World. He was contacting various Christian filmmakers to film low budget shorts from the Not of this World comic book. He was impressed with Tanzen, Seeds and the rough cut of Stern Swift.

I have been overwhelmed by the response the film community has given this film. I was so honored with how well "Seeds" performed at the Silver Wave and I think that has helped this project as well. I feel like this is an all star crew leading an all star cast.

Filming Journal

We spent a day in February walking in the snow in front of Wayne's yard. We grabbed a camera from the co-op and we will use the footage for scene 3. Jonathan was not able to make it but the rest of the ship's crew were on hand to go through the frozen tundra.
