Old Sow Film Productions was created in 2002 by Jeff Combs and the Deer Island Youth Group.  We create spiritually solid and culturally relevant quality films for Maritime and other North American youth and communities to enjoy.  Currently our lack of funds causes us to be rather creative and selective in producing our films.  We are based in a very small community as Deer Island has less than a thousand year round residents.  Therefore, we are forced to rely on what we have available to us and add in a healthy dose of comedy and hard work to make up for living in a larger community may offer us.
